December 1, 2022 - Leviticus 9:5-6
“And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before Jehovah. And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah commanded that ye should do: and the glory of Jehovah shall appear unto you.” Leviticus 9:5-6 ASV
Lord, we cry out to see your glory. Let this be what we live our lives for above all else. You are worthy of anything and everything that we need to sacrifice to find more of you. Fall on us and consume anything that needs to be consumed for us to see more of you. We give you all our lives. Fire fall on us and purify us. We want all that you have for us. Come and show us more of who you are. Moses told the elders of Israel to bring their unblemished offering to you, he said when they did that as commanded that your glory would appear. Show us what you want us to sacrifice to you for this. We want to give whatever needs to be given in order to see your glory revealed to us in greater ways.
Lord, illuminate our eyes to be able to see you more clearly. We know your presence is always all around us. We want to live in a way that we are always looking for you and aware of you around us. Show us how you are already shining your glory into the world around us. Show us how you are loving us and blessing us each day. Show us how your hand is at work in our lives. We praise you for all these things. We praise you for how you are revealing yourself to us. We praise you for how you pour your love over us each day. We praise you for your glory. We praise you for inviting us into places where we can see you. We thank you for receiving us as we are and working within us to purify us and grow us in you. You are truly a remarkable God, and it is such an honor to surrender our lives to you. For you are worthy of our sacrifices. Come and show us your glory!
