Jesus, our love, we thank you so much for how you love us. It is such an honor to be loved by love itself. Your love is truly perfect. You made us perfectly and love us fully. We don’t have to perform or do certain things to earn your love. We could never earn your love. Thank you for the way you love us freely with no strings.
We thank you that you see us through the eyes of love. What an honor to be called things like darling and lovely by you. It is a beautiful thing to be loved the way you love us. Help us to grow in our capacity to accept the love you are giving us. We want to walk in knowing what it means to be fully loved by you. Please help us identify and silence any lies that would tell us something different than the truth. Help us begin to experience the freedom that comes when we truly understand your love for us.
Help us learn to see ourselves as your bride and you as our Groom. Not in some distant, one day when we get to heaven way, but right now. Show us how to learn to live our lives everyday passionately in love with you. Let us long to stay in your presence. We want to love you back like you love us. This verse says that we have eyes like gentle doves. Doves in the Bible often represent the Holy Spirit. Lord, let us learn to see you and the world around us through the Holy Spirit’s eyes. Help us learn to see people the way that you do and in turn love them like you do.
Lord, we thank you that you look at us and see beauty. We thank you for your never-ending love. Thank you for the greater understanding of that love that you are releasing to each of us today. We declare our love for you today.
