August 27, 2024 - Numbers‬ ‭10‬:‭34‬-‭36

“As they moved on each day, the cloud of the Lord hovered over them. And whenever the Ark set out, Moses would shout, “Arise, O Lord, and let your enemies be scattered! Let them flee before you!” And when the Ark was set down, he would say, “Return, O Lord, to the countless thousands of Israel!”” Numbers 10:34-36 NLT

Lord, we praise you for how you are always with us. We may not see you in a cloud or a pillar of fire, but you are just as present in our lives today as you were when you led the Israelites through the desert. Help us learn to follow your leading. We want to stop when you stop and move forward when you move forward. Help us not to run ahead of you or to lag behind. We want to stay right at your side following your every move. When it is time to move forward, we declare the same thing as Moses. “Arise, O Lord, and scatter your enemies. Let them flee before you.” Lord, push our enemies back and allow us to take ground for your glory. Lord, when it is time to stop and rest with you, we declare, “Return, O Lord, to your people.” Let us encounter your presence in deep and intimate ways. Take us deeper into knowing who you are. Help us recognize you all around us. Open our eyes to see beyond the natural and give us understanding of the supernatural all around us. We praise you for how you long to guide us and reveal yourself to us.

In Jesus name, amen.
