August 2, 2024 - Joel‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬-‭10

“Proclaim this among the nations: Consecrate for war; stir up the mighty men. Let all the men of war draw near; let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, “I am a warrior.”” Joel 3:9-10 ESV

Lord, we want to be your mighty warriors who are ready to go to war against the devil for the advancement of your kingdom. Raise us up and train us to be warriors who are tuned into hearing your voice. We want to fight with your strategies and walk in obedience to all you ask of us. We want to consecrate ourselves before you. Help us to live in a lifestyle of consecration. Uproot anything in us that isn’t pleasing to you. Give us a heart to choose daily to live in a holy manner. Stir us up and give us a hunger to go deeper in you. Give us an unquenchable desire to learn your Word. Teach us how to be master swordsman who know how to use it to take down our enemy, as well as how to use it as our shield. Lord, even when we are nothing but small children, like David was, grow our faith in you and our knowledge of how to use your Word as our weapon. Standing with you will enable us to take down any Goliath that stands before us. Help us to never allow our weaknesses and shortcomings to stop us from being a mighty warrior for you. We praise you that you use the weak to do mighty things. You are such a good God. We never fight alone when we are fighting for you. Thank you for how you always fight for us and through us. It isn’t our abilities but yours that defeats our enemy. Thank you, Jesus. You are worthy of our lives, and we commit them to you.

In Jesus name, amen.
