August 2, 2023 - Matthew‬ ‭25:21

“Because you have been a faithful steward to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, “Enter into the joy of your Lord!”” Matthew 25:21 TPT

Lord, we want to honor you with our lives, our jobs, our finances, our families, our homes, our possessions, our bodies/health…our everything. We want to take care of and value all of it like it belongs to the King, because it does. Everything was given to us by you to steward. We want to be faithful stewards. Show us how to multiply what you have given us. Show us any area of our lives that we are not stewarding well.

Lord, even in the small or mundane things teach us how to honor you. Let us take ownership of everything you place in front of us and be the example to others on how to do “the unwanted tasks” with a good attitude. If we can do them with quality and joy, you will give us so much more. Teach us to walk humbly and not see anything as “below us”. Help us be the kind of people who see a need and our first reaction is, “Let me bless someone else today and deal with this, even though it isn’t my job.” We want to be people that you can trust with so much more.

Lord, we also realize that there needs to be balance in this. We ask for you to give us clear insight on what we are to invest in. If we truly invest into everything we come across, we will be spread too thin and do nothing well. Show us how to treat everything with honor, respect, and love, but clearly understand what you have given us as ours to invest in and multiply.

Oh, how we want to experience your delight when you look at us and our lives. We want to be faithful to steward everything well. We want to bless you by stewarding well all you give us.
