“Yahweh’s tender mercies have no end, and the kindness of his endless love is never exhausted. New, fresh mercies greet me with every sunrise. So wonderfully great is your faithfulness! I tell my soul, “Yahweh is my abundant portion. I need nothing more. So, I will put all my hope in him.”” Lamentations 3:22-24 TPT

Lord, what beautiful truth this verse holds. Thank you for being so tender with us. We praise you for your mercies. How wonderful that we don’t get what we deserve. We are constantly doing things that don’t bring you pleasure or glory. There are ways that we are sinning against you and we don’t even realize we are doing it. Where would we be without your endless mercies. Oh, and your love. Wow. It is so perfect. Like the waves of the ocean, your love knows no end. With each new day, we are greeted with fresh new mercies. Show us how to be intentional about walking each day in the mercy that you have for us that day. We praise you for your faithfulness to us. It is astounding that you remain faithful to us even in our unfaithfulness to you. Yahweh, you are truly an amazing God.

We declare that you are our abundant portion. You are all we really need in life. Help us learn to live seeking you above all else as you are truly our greatest treasure. Lord, we put our hope in you for you are our firm foundation who never fails us. All praise be to your name.

In Jesus name, amen.
