You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah” Psalm 32:7 ESV
Lord, we praise you that you are our hiding place. We are always safe when we draw near to you. You are the most caring and protecting Father who ever existed. You do preserve us from trouble. Even when we do walk through hard times, you want us to draw near to you during them so you can carry us through. How sad it is that the enemy succeeds in driving so many people away from you when things get hard, when in fact if we would draw near, and hide in you, you would give us strength to get through. When we cry you want to be there holding us tight and crying with us. When we hurt, you want to heal the pain and bring restoration. In life often after we have an injury, that part of our body might carry a weakness after it heals. The beauty in being restored by you is we are stronger after we have recovered than we were before. Your ways are so wonderful. You long to bring deliverance when we need it. It might not look like we expected, but you never fail. I can see you in heaven shouting around us and bringing forth our deliverance. You are like the parent lovingly cheering on their child, so excited to see us succeed. You are so wonderful and it is truly an honor to call you our God!
In Jesus name, amen.
