April 7, 2023 - John‬ ‭3:19-21

“The Light of God has now come into the world, but the people loved darkness more than the Light, because they want the darkness to conceal their evil. So the wicked hate the Light and try to hide from it, for the Light fully exposes their lives. But those who love the truth will come into the Light, for the Light will reveal that it was God who produced their fruitful works.”” John 3:19-21 TPT

Lord, thank you so much that you are the true light. Your light will drive out all the darkness. Darkness can’t exist where light is. We want to acknowledge that we love your light. We invite it into our lives. Light up all the dark places. We want nothing hidden. Let nothing wicked within us stay. We invite you to fully expose everything in us to your light. Purify us.

Use your light to drive out any schemes of the enemy in our lives. Reveal it and wash them in your light. Make us people of light. Purify us into the purest of silver that reflects your light into the world around us. And let us do that in the most loving and non-judgmental way possible. Let your light shine through us and reveal who you are and what you are doing in our lives. Let your light in us draw the lost out of their darkness and towards you.

Lord, help us be willing to allow you to shine your light into every area of our lives and not keep anything hidden. Help us remain open and inviting to what you want to do in our lives. Help us to despise darkness in us and never try and hide it away. Always bring more and more of us into your beautiful light.

We thank you for how you are continually working in us, transforming us into your image.

In Jesus name, amen.
