April 21, 2022 - 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2
“Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 NLT
Lord, today I want to pray for myself and all the other missionaries around the world. Lord, I want to pray that you would be our strength every day. Help us to always find our everything in you. If there are any areas in our lives that we don’t have you as the source, please make that clear to us. We want our every action to be about glorifying you and making you known throughout the earth. Lord, I pray restoration into every missionary who is feeling defeated. We ask that you pour your refreshing spirit over them again and renew the joy of their salvation. Provide for our every need. We pray you would open our eyes and allow us to see past the natural realm to see what is really happening in the spiritual realm. Give fresh strategy on how to overcome the schemes of the enemy.
Lord, we also pray for a new wind of your spirit to rain down over the earth. Make your name known. Let the good news of your name spread afresh around the globe. We pray for dreams and revelations of you to be released. We ask that you stir hearts and place deep longings in people for your truth. Open eyes to see truth in a new light. We ask for miracles to be released to glorify you.
We pray protection over your church and your missionaries. Place your hedge of protection around them and block the attacks of the enemy. For those working in closed countries/regions, we ask that you blind the authorities to their work for you. Raise up more prayer warriors to stand with them. Lord, move in our hearts right now, show each of us anything else you’re calling us to do in this area.
