April 19, 2022 - 2 Corinthians 3:4-5
“We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ. It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.” 2 Corinthians 3:4-5 NLT
Lord, we thank you for how confident we can be in you. We can confidently walk in trust of you and your promises. You will never fail us. We can confidently stand in who you have called us to be, not falling into insecurities. For you have called us sons and daughters and have given us the authority that comes with being a son/daughter of the Most High. We can be confident in the calling you have on our lives. You would never call us to something that we can’t accomplish with your help. Lord, we ask that you show us the places where we are not living in your confidence. Show us any lies that we are believing that have us living in insecurities of you, ourselves, or our callings. Forgive us for living under these lies and show us how to replace them with your truth.
Lord, we thank you that you don’t leave us on our own to figure things out. You are always right there with us, showing us the way. Praise you for giving us strength and bridging the gap of our weaknesses. Thank you that we don’t need to have all the qualifications of this world to do what you are calling us to. If you have called us to be something or do something, you will make a way for us to accomplish it. We thank you that you are more concerned with our hearts than our strengths or talents. Help us always keep our hearts set on you above all else. Help our hearts to always qualify for anything that you are calling us to. Show us how to continue to grow stronger in our relationship with you. Teach us how to love you wholeheartedly. When you ask us to do something that we don’t feel capable of, remind us that we don’t do it alone, you are doing it with us.
