April 14, 2024 - Hebrews 6:10

“For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.” Hebrews 6:10 NLT

Lord, we praise you that you are a very just God. You see everything and you keep a ledger. Nothing, the good or the bad, goes unseen. You will reward us for the good that we do, just like you will hold us accountable for the bad. We praise you for your precious blood that covers all our sins. And we praise you for how you want to celebrate when we choose to follow your ways. Thank you for seeing the times when we go the extra mile even when nothing in us wants to. We praise you that you see when we choose to forgive when the pain of being wronged is still so fresh. We thank you that you see all the sacrifices that we make to bring glory to your name. It would be easy for you to say that you paid a higher price or that you forgave us of more than what we need to forgive others. We don’t deserve your encouragement or rewards. But that is the type of God you are.

We praise you for being a God that loves us and cares for us. We praise you for how you cheer us on each time we take a step down the road to righteousness. You see everything that costs us something and you will repay it back in ways that we can’t even imagine. You see how hard we work to shine your light into the darkness, and you will carry us through. You see all the injuries we receive when we stand strong fighting battles as one of your warriors and you will restore us to be even stronger than when we started. You are such an amazing God. We praise you that you are such an amazing God to serve.

In Jesus name, amen.
