April 12, 2025 - John‬ ‭17‬:‭24

“Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!” John 17:24 NLT

Jesus, we see you here praying to the Father and asking him for what you want. What an honor it is to have a glimpse into seeing what you really want expressed clearly in your words. Not only is it amazing to see what you want, but to see that your desire is about us. You want us to be with you and to see your glory. When that happens, everything will suddenly become clear. We will understand who you are and who we are. We will understand the great love you and the Father have for us. We will see how trivial our problems are to how great and capable you are. We will no longer need faith to believe, but we will know the truth.

We can’t wait for the day that we can be with you and all the above becomes a reality in our lives. Oh, we long for the day we can be face to face with you, but that time hasn’t come yet. We still have a mission here on earth. There are so many people who still need us to share you with them. There are billions of people who have never heard your name and you long for them to be with you too. Lead us and show us the part we are to play in making your name known to them. Open our eyes to the people around us that need to surrender to you and show us how to shine your light into their lives. Holy Spirit, we want to walk with you every step of the day and listen for your directions. Give us the courage, wisdom, and strength to walk in obedience to all that you ask. Help us make your wants in this verse become a reality.
