April 10, 2023 - John‬ ‭3:27, 29b-30‬

“John (the Baptist) answered them, “A person cannot receive even one thing unless God bestows it...Because of his words, my joy is complete and overflows! It is necessary for him to increase and for me to decrease.” John 3:27, 29b-30 TPT

Lord, I thank you so much that you are a God who is our provider. Everything good comes from you. The fact that blood is flowing through our veins and that there is air in our lungs is all a gift from you. We thank you that you are a God that give us life and everything we need to live it victoriously. You are so amazing.

Lord, we thank you for how you care for us. We are not alone. You are with us. You gave us your living word to guide us through life. You sent you Spirit here to help us learn and understand. You are so remarkable to us. This truly is such a joyful thing for us. Let us contemplate this fact today. Let it overflow us with joy all day long. Let our joy overflow to those we encounter throughout the day. Let it light us up and radiate out of us.

We want to overflow with your Spirit. Let us create more space in our lives for more of you, Lord. We want less of us so that we have room for more of you. Let our will and desires become less and begin to line up with your will and your ways. Increase in us. We want so much more of you. More, Lord, more. Thank you for longing to pour yourself out over us. What an honor to serve such a generous God!

In Jesus name, amen.
